It’s not everyday that someone with this color walks in. Red hair presents its own incredibly unique set of needs. Just based off my experience, it’s incredibly multi tonal. So if I try to cut everything wet, I can miss out on seeing which parts are true blonde and which areas have more copper to them. This is the kind of hair where every decision needs to be made visually. I’m all for following structure of a cut but its no replacement for paying attention to whats in your hand. If I pick up a section and it’s mixed with tones of different colors and tones, cutting a straight line at the edge can make them look artificial. While over texturizing the same area can make what was once healthy look threadbare. Damn, that’s pretty hair.
